Hi everyone… Just wanted to thank all of you for your interest in …ME! I am not used to such kind and giving people. Since coming to DRM I have been so lucky to have met such angels. I know I have a long road to go, but it is a lot easier knowing that I have such caring people rooting for me!
Another blessing… I have been introduced to this great piece of furniture called a couch! Because of the trouble with my legs, I rarely go into a sit position. If you meet me you will see that I either will stand or try to gingerly find a spot to lay down. My legs have been sore for so very long that it is a dream to be able to snuggle up onto soft furniture. My foster mom lets me snuggle in whenever and wherever I can get comfortable. I cannot believe how lucky I am!
It sounds like I have an appointment at the University of Minnesota on January 23. My foster mom says we will be there for about an hour so I can meet a special doctor who will try to “figure me out”. After we meet with the doctor we will then be able to come up with a plan on how best to help me. She tells me how very fortunate I am because this appointment will be very expensive. I know there are some very special people out there who are donating to my care. While I haven’t meet you, know that I appreciate you! It amazes me every day when I remember where I came from just two months ago. I am one lucky dog…with a really soft couch.
