Sascha aka Godiva |
Sascha is doing awesome! She graduated from her obedience classes and is
doing great. We work on her commands daily and she is a very respectful
and obedient girl.. She no longer jumps on people but when she gets
excited she still is quite mouthy but we are working on that also. If
you have any suggestions on handling that issue we would love to here
what others have tried.. Sascha now weighs 70 lbs she is really growing
up 🙂 she goes to camp bow wow once a week and does great there, as a
matter of fact, last Wednesday she seemed to know it was day care day
and kept looking at the closet where her leash is kept and sat right in
front of the door! She loves her walks with dad and playing catch with
the tennis balls in the backyard…she loves everyone including our 9
month old grandson, however the last few times he’s been over we’ve had
to provide a bone distraction for her because she feels the need to get
right in his space, she takes her bone and lays on the floor right next
to him.. She is VERY distracted by birds, yes birds, and they seem to
taunt her lol…I think that will lessen now that there are so many
birds out but when the robins first came back she went a bit psycho at
the sight of them haha. She is very protective of her yard and we can
tell when she goes on high alert because her lucky ear stands up nice
and tall lol…She’s a hit at the vet! Dr. Bob loves dobies and fell in
love with her immediately! We’ve been there about 4 times since we got
her for bordatella, lepto, boosters for both of them and we had him tape
her ears for us.. We failed miserably on the ear taping and eventually
brought her in, only to find out we felt so sorry for her depressed self
with the taped ears we took them down… We love her lucky ear it gives
her character 🙂 She is just a wonderful dog and we are blessed to
have her……….Sheri
