I ONLY WANTED YOU
They say memories are golden
well maybe that is true
I never wanted memories,
I only wanted you.
A million times I needed you,
a million times I cried.
If love alone could have saved you
you never would have died.
In life I loved you dearly,
In death I love you still.
In my heart you hold a place
no one could ever fill.
If tears could build a stairway
and heartache make a lane,
I’d walk the path to heaven
and bring you back again.
Our family chain is broken,
and nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us one by one,
the chain will link again.

Thank you to everyone for caring for Tucker while he was with our rescue for such a short time. This poor pup was in pain and discomfort, blind, suffering with seizures and could not walk. We wanted to do everything to help this boy, but with the recommendations of our veterinarians he was lovingly put out of his misery after being carefully evaluated by the doctors. We all shed a tear for this sweet boy who did not ask to come in to this world-his whole litter is now showing up in rescues with the same, but less extreme, diagnosis. We have identified the breeder in southern Minnesota.
His brother Jackson came with him and is doing well in his foster home-Jackson is doing much better and is happy, but still has some neurological issues that we need to address.
