Oberon is a delight for a foster. He has made his place in our home and pack quickly and easily. He loves his crate and sleeps well at night in it, but does well on a doggy bed next to you on the floor. He is very quite and does not bark much. He loves to chase the lawn tractor and bite the tires, so he may have the potential to be a car chaser, we are working on the lawn tractor tire biting issues. He does well with the chickens after being told to “leave it” and can now come in to the chicken yard when it’s feeding time, he loves to chase bugs and birds and will entertain himself nicely if no one else will. Oberon does like to explore on the farm with all the smells, and seems to have somewhat of a curiosity prey drive and moves quickly, so he does need to be watched all the time and would do best with a home that has a fenced yard. Oberon loves to snuggle on the couch with you and will plop himself right on your lap, he clearly is not a lap dog at 75 pounds, we haven’t the heart to tell him as he is so lovable. He is very handsome as you can see. He should have been named Shadow as he follows us around everywhere inside and outside-except for those moments when he needs to check something out. Oberon ‘s first day here he was a little shy but that changed quickly and he is now a happy, confident, outgoing doberboy who will make a great companion. He really is an easy keeper and very, very smart, picks up things quickly.
