We always have Dobermans waiting to come in or just not yet ready for the web!

We have recently taken in a number of Doberman in who will be available for adoption soon! More Dobermans are waiting to come into rescue too! PLEASE CONSIDER FOSTERING!!!! https://dobermanrescueminnesota.com/volunteer.php

As always, all of our Dobermans are spayed, neutered, up to date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heart worm negative and on heart worm meds. Watch for more updates on all these Doberman and many more coming soon!

Aesop-3 year old male, black and tan, docked and natural eared, 125 pounds, good with other dogs, loves dog parks.  Crate trained, house broke. No young children!

Zoey-3 year old female, black and tan, docked and natural eared, sweet, polite and petite, good with cats, very attachable to her humans-loves to be around people. So-so with other dogs. Shy but warms up eventually!

Lilly-6 years old- Female-Retired show dog-owners are now in long term health care and can no longer care for Lilly. She would be an excellent therapy dog as she LOVES elderly folk! She loves people and seems very sad to have lost her home and life she once knew. Would prefer a home with retired people where she can be queen!

Mordecai-16 week old male pup-super smart, great temperament, almost potty trained, crate trained, sweet little man, makes up for his disabilities! Breeder was going to euthanize as there was no money to care for him-we took him to the University of Minnesota Vet Center to get honest opinion on our options-The Docs at the U said we should give him a chance! So he is now with us and completely a joy to have in foster care! Mordy had a dislocated elbow that did not get placed back properly by the breeder, in fact breeder did not even notice it (!) until after Mordy was “sold”, this will need to be addressed in the future and DRM is committed 100%. Mordy also has congenital megaesophogus, which we are hoping he out grows one day-the vets are hopeful too! Mordy is super playful and acts like any other pup, he is just a little different as he eats in a high chair! We are also seeking donations to help defray his vet care as he grows. Mordy is currently eating Honest Kitchen-Embark, (we will take any donations for his food!) and we are looking at surgery for the future, the University estimates the cost to fix his leg at $3500. Please help us help Mordy! We are committed to helping him. If you are interested in adopting or helping us support Mordy with food or medical expenses please let us know! If you want to meet Mordy (along with Spirit!)-he will be making an appearance this Saturday at the Canine Carnival- Wildlife Science Center in Forest Lake!

Thor-not currently in rescue but we are looking for forever home for this special boy! Thor is 5 years old, all up to date on vaccines and neutered, great with ‘his’ people, currently lives with older children, and will protect them to the end. Thor is a typical Doberman, has built in need to guard and protect his domain. Although we don’t adopt “guard dogs”, Thor definitely would be described as such-no one will enter your home with him in charge! Thor does not do well with other dogs or critters and would do best in a no other animal home. Please contact us if you would be willing to foster him, or if you are interested in adopting this boy!
