Oberon “Obe” (the name means “noble bear” in German). It’s non-stop play around the house. He’s really settling nicely. We haven’t had any accidents in the house. He potties outside very nicely. He kennels nicely and made it through the night in his kennel without a single complaint. All in all, he’s a great dog. The only issue we have from time to time is barking as he does not like to be left alone and will make it known to the entire neighborhood. However, I think once he settles and feels more secure that will go away. Oberon is a 1 year old, neutered male dobe. Oberon and his brother Dakota, with 2 other littermates, were surrendered to a shelter and found the way to DRM. These pups have had no proper socialization or obedience and are starving for human affection and attention. The world will be less scary with a trusting human to guide them along. Both these young dobe boys will be great dogs someday. Watch for Obe’s brother, Dakota, coming soon. Dakota is a little camera shy!
