Fee is $20.00 + site admin/registration fee, fee is per dog. In this class we will take you from inexperienced to knowing the basics of training your dog for skijoring success. Meet up with other skijoring enthusiasts of your same skill level while training your dog for this winters skijoring fun! We provide all needed equipment for you to use for the day and we will have two certified dog powered sports trainers on hand to guide you through everything you need to know to get started. Our proven pawsitive training methods give you real results while alleviating stress for your pet during the process.Registration is required. *** Class size is limited to better serve you and your dog. *** So register early.

Day two of the Chuck & Don’s Skijoring Loppet and Subaru National
Skijoring Championships. This point-to-point race starts in Wirth Park and finishes in Loppet Village in the Calhoun Commons area of Uptown, Minneapolis. The event is 10 kilometers and includes some tough hills. The course goes over three bridges, under Highway 55, over Interstate 394, through a tunnel, under two railroad tracks, and follows five lakes on its way to Uptown. Skijor teams can use one or two dogs.
