Clifford is settling in here in his foster home pretty well. He has begun his journey to kick the nasty Heartworm out of his body. We visited the vet today and had the last “pre-treatment/treatment”. We will begin the first formal treatment in 30 days. There are still lots of questions about his condition, he has some “off” test results which could be due to the Heartworm, or to some other underlying problems, we won’t know until the treatment is complete. He has gained 2 pounds since coming to stay with us, many more to come I hope! 🙂 He has lovely house manners and is getting along with foster brother Norman well enough. Activity has to be limited until his treatment is complete so we are all just “chillin”. He is enjoying nice new dog beds and overnights on the couch! We have learned he does like to chase small furry things like rabbits squirrels and cats. No cats here and limited access to the other “wildlife” around here so we’re good! He is a pretty laid back guy and seems great with all people, we don’t have any children here, so not sure about how he would do with them. We’ll continue to check in with updates, in the mean time, keep Clifford in your prayers!
