Zeus is a 2 year old, natural eared, male doberman who is looking for a forever home. Sadly, Zeus was used as a stud dog so his owner could make some money, starting at a the very young age of 8 months old (which is in violation of the code of ethics for the Doberman Pinschers Club of America, DPCA). Because of this, he has one specific undesirable habit he does when meeting new dogs, which we are working on eliminating. Zeus does have a permanent injury to his trachea, most likely due to improper use of a prong collar by his past owner, but he has learned how to tip his head back to drink water. Zeus is a little fearful of new things but is slowly learning to trust people and has become more confident with his foster family. All around Zeus is a great dog who really just wants to get all the attention his foster mom can dish out. He does have a good amount of energy to burn off, loves to play and will need a fenced in yard. Zeus will need a formal obedience class as he has not had any training other then what we have started in his foster home. Zeus is current on all vaccines, micro-chipped, neutered and heart-worm negative.
