Update from Jewel..
Hi everyone, Jewel here. I had my first vet visit this week. Dr. P. said I am emaciated and very malnourished. He is not sure if I will get my hair back, but he’s going to give me his best effort. He said I have a right sided heart murmer which we are going to keep an eye on. My foster mom is feeding me some really good stuff so I should start gaining some weight soon. I do tire easily and sleep alot, good thing I have such a comfy bed! I am feeling a bit better each day, or at least “mom” thinks so. I am exploring a bit more of my new surroundings each day. We are going to see the Dr. again on Wednesday for some additional tests, I’ll give you another update then. Back to bed for me, goodnight! Oh yeah, I almost forgot to say “thank you” to everyone who has inquired about me or send donations for my care. I never knew there could be such kindness, I am truly blessed.
